Are you ready to enter your story into the competition? There are a few rules below which you need to read first, or ask a parent to read for you.

Rules:
1. Entrants must be under the age of 18.
2. Stories must be less than 600 words.
3. There is no limit to the number of stories an entrant may submit.
4. Stories must be based on one or more of the objects featured on this website.
5. Competition entries must be received between July 31st 2010 and January 16th 2011.
6. Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
7. Prizes will be awarded to the best three entries and no cash alternatives will be available.
8. The competition winners will be contacted by email after the close of the competition, and will need to provide an address at that time for the prize to be sent to (e-mail and home addresses submitted as part of this competition will not be kept for any other purpose).
9. If a competition winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts have been made, the judges reserve the right to award the prize to another entrant.
10. Employees of Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery and their immediate families are not eligible to win the competition.
11. Entries which do not comply with these rules are subject to disqualification.
12. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
